First..

i figured i didnt like seeing the infant blackness that is the genesis of this blogspot. but alas there is nothing i wish to share just yet, and i intend to keep up with this thing as well. i will probably connect this with all the different online communities i am apart of, so put up pictures and all that jazz.

i am currently working on my first release, which will be digital for now, so look out for a posting of it, with some dope ass artwork done by my super fresh and cool partner in crime. so its an exciting time, and i hope those of you who do find your way to this page like it, and if you dont well there will still be somebodies out there who will, and IF NOT THAT, i like it! :).

anyway a bit more about me: i used to really dig comics, specifically spawn and x-men. i found myself buying alot of the spawn, cause he was a blackman and i was glad to find a comic book character to relate to, and plus it had to do with him selling his soul to the devil in the name of love for his wife. not paricularly moved by the romance part as much as it had to do with death and so on; something i was really focused on at a young age becuase of mine and many others' relationship to it (scared like birds of it). anyway i say this all to say this, that i recently found my way back into the comic world, via THE WATCHMEN. so i became one of those people that reads the book before the movie comes out, or in this case, the graphic novel (read as a LONG ASS COMIC BOOK). i saw the preview for it 3 times, because i saw the dark knight three times, not to mention to the bootleg on my ipod. and i sat in bewilderment of the stunning visuals (read as: the blue man group with 3rd eye vision capabilities) and the interesting narrative. but because its a preview i didnt know what in the sam hell was going on so i figured i would check my school library for it...and so it went. so i have started reading it and i am on the third chapter and i found something similar about the book and the preview, can you guess what it is: i dont know what in the sam hell is happening.
i told this to a friend, and she said that someone had told her something similar, and that the trick was to read it again. not exactly what i had in mind, i thought i may have cleared up the mystery so then i could compare the book to the movie and sound like one of those snotty people who talk about how the book was better :) but alas by the time the film is released, i will probably just be finishing the damn book, not cause i am slow reader, just because i was informed that iwont even know what the hell is going on by the time i am done. ahhhhh perhaps i shouldnt underestimate myself based on the opinions of others and their understanding of things.
