NEW YORK CITY DAY 1 & 2

i know i skimmed out on the first day of an entry to touch on some new york tid bits but here i am doing double the work i guess, before i sleep and day 3 starts.

for the first day i arrived at the massive ass JFK airport where i had to walk an insane distance just to get my f-ing bag, one measly bag. i was just feeling beat about it cause i hadnt slept at all. i was up late at kinkos, thankfully not by myself...you're the awesomest belinda, tryna print up some business cards and cd covers so i could bring them out here and that took long enough so that i could hop on the train to get to the flippin bus to get to the airport. traveling alone my friends is not really that fun. the plane ride felt like 2 secs, and homeboy beside me blessed hisself with the sign of the cross when our miniature air chariot landed. so throughout the rest of the day i was just narcaleptic, head noddin here and there. just pushing my body to the liiiiiimmiiiittttt. its all goood though i am basicallly on vacation, it doesnt hurt to be unruly with yourself. it feels good to be here and i am glad that i got some support from people encouraging me to come and just put myself out there

NYC factoid (according to brendan of course): things run on time in new york, they do say "in a new york minute" to emphasize that shit moves quickly, but man when i am being told to meet someone or be some where it is no joke, like you gotta be, people dont respect their time being taken lightly like that. i can dig it i really can.

NYC factoid #2 (according to brendan of course): new yorkers are alot nicer than the rep they have been given. i suppose their image has been sullied by oh i dont know, THE CRACK EPIDEMIC. yea thats word, but overall people show love, i mean hey i guess its a karmic thing, like you never know when you're gonna see a certain person again or you dont know who someone is so you would rather keep it kosher just to save the apologies for being passive and ish.
